Humbly and with respect, I admit that 2018 was very good for us @ CST-360. We had some new fascinating engagements that started and will continue into the new year with new technologies, new business models and above all new BUSINESS RISKS to address. What should we expect of coming 2019? Here are the three bullets we see as the most influencing on an organization's decision-making process:
Digital Transformation is growing and getting more and more mature - These changes generate new business models and hence changes in business risks. In order to mitigate the risks, Cyber Security should definitely be part of your transformation.
New Technologies and outsourced applications are rapidly conquering the way we do business - Cloud and mobile computing are becoming the main channels to engage. Securing these channels and allowing their recovery are not "nice to have" any more.
Your business continuity is dependent on that.
Cyber related risks are aggravating - 2018 presented new vectors of attack and new usage of known malware. Since we can NOT protect everything, organizations should identify their core assets to ensure they protect what matters.
In a way, it feels like nothing changed. However, if I look in to it, I see that with more experience and further expertise, CST has taken a facelift with our client responsibility and as a result with our matching capabilities to support the implementation of security strategies lifecycle.
That is our own Digital Transformation. What is yours?
Feel free to reach out with any questions or clarifications you wish to receive. We will be more than happy to assist.
